Congratulations and thanks to everyone that participated, volunteered, marshalled, made endless cups of teas yesterday for the 5th year of the Dooneen 10mile event in memory of Michal Rejmer.
It was the 5th year of the event and the largest turnout to date. Conditions were tough, but that didn’t dampen outstanding performances from all our runners. Congratulations to winners Conor O’Brien of West Limerick AC and Kealey Tideswell of Clonmel AC on winning in respective times of 53:22 and 01:00:29. The female course record was also broken. Well done Cillian Higgins and Tracey Johnson who were the first Dooneen athletes home and to Dooneen AC who won both club male and female team categories.
