10 Mile Road Race in memory of Michal Rejmer
Registration is now open for the Dooneen 10mile in memory of Michal Rejmer, which will take place on Sunday the 29th March 2026 starting and finishing at Limerick Racecourse at 11am.
Entry is just €30 and that includes a medal for all finishers and for the first 250 entries, will include a free T-shirt! Don’t delay get signed up using the link below or the QR code.
Many thanks to everyone that ran, marshalled, volunteered, supported, laughed, cried and had a delicious ice-cream at the end of the Dooneen 10mile event today in memory of Michal Rejmer. With 283 athletes taking to the roads this morning around Patrickswell/Crecora starting and finishing at Limerick Racecourse, it was a fantastic day. 
Superb finish times recorded and our course record was broken by our overall winner 
Karl Fitzmaurice of Shannon AC in a time of 51: 58. John Mc Keogh was 
in 54:29, Niall O’Riordan of An Bru was 
in 56:59, Liam O’Connor of Grange/Fermoy 4th in 57:11 and Karl Lenihan of West Limerick AC rounding out the top 5 in 57:21. In the ladies, Dee Collins of Ennis Track was in 01:0212, followed by Amy Murphy of West Limerick AC in 01:06:53, Elizabeth Quinn of Ennis track was in 01:08:28, Ruth McCarthy of Derg AC 4th in 01:02:21 and Ann Marie Coleman was 5th in 01:09:29. Also, special mention to our oldest participant completing the course and in her 90s. Incredible

The weather played ball today and overall was a great day out for running. We’re very fortunate to have great support and sponsors with us for this year. Special mention to Limerick Racecourse, HOMS Assist, Ishka water, A&A Kanios, Signzone, Owen Ryan, HDS, Irish Cement, Bolger Engineering and Mc Dermotts Patrickswell. 
To all our marhals, volunteers, supports staff, pacers, catering crew, lead vehicles, ambulance crew, Myrunresults, you are all amazing and make these events possible to run in a safe and enjoyable way. 
Hope you all enjoyed the 4th year of this event and continue to spread the word and help this event grow. For now, its a well earned rest for everyone and its go time again in 3weeks time for GLR. Happy Training.

Registration for the Dooneen 10mile in memory of Michal Rejmer is now open for a bargain early bird price of €20!! 
See link below to register (or in our IG bio). With a fabulous setting of Limerick Racecourse and with our sponsors HOMS Assist, the 10mile run takes place on Sunday 13th April at 11am.
For 2025, there are even more prizes!! 
As well individual prizes and a corporate team prize (teams of 4 min of 1 female), this year there’ll be a relay team prize with teams of 2 runners with a 4mile and 6mile leg (entry for the relay is €15 pp-early bird). The event is chipped timed with all participants receiving bespoke medals at the finish 
and plenty of yummy treats after with the legendary ice-cream! 
Entries will be limited so be sure to get signed up today. This is great preparation for anyone preparing for the Limerick 1/2 or full marathon, as well as a great stepping stone to move up on the distance if you’ve done recent 10k’s of Caherconlish or Adare. Looking forward to seeing you on race day.
